Hannah Kulaga

About Hannah Kulaga

Hannah is an Associate in our Wills & Estates team, with a particular focus on estate litigation.

She advises clients on all aspects of succession law, from estate planning through to the administration of deceased estates. Hannah’s primary area of practice is contested estates, where she regularly acts in complex and high-value disputes.

Hannah has extensive experience in estate litigation, estate planning and estate administration matters across Queensland and New South Wales, including involvement in one of Queensland’s leading informal will cases. She represents clients in the

Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court.

Her experience includes advising and acting in relation to:

  • Family provision applications (disappointed beneficiary claims)
  • Will challenges, including disputes involving testamentary capacity, undue influence, knowledge and approval, fraud and forgery
  • Informal wills, including electronic, handwritten and unsigned wills
  • Superannuation and life insurance disputes
  • Disputes between joint executors or administrators
  • Disputes between beneficiaries and executors or administrators
  • Executor and trustee appointment and removal applications
  • Estate planning and estate administration
  • Asset protection strategies
  • Testamentary trusts

Hannah is also a published author, having written several articles for the award-winning STEP Journal, the international journal of the global professional body for trust and estate practitioners.
