About Alexandra
Alexandra is a solicitor practicing in our family law and domestic violence team, having practiced solely in these areas since her admission.
Alexandra is very client-orientated, focusing on open communication and achieving the best results for her clients.
Alexandra has acted in a wide range of contested family law and domestic violence matters including:
- High net worth property matters
- Spousal maintenance matters
- Child support matters
- Parenting disputes comprising of serious risk concerns such as serious family violence and drug use
- Child sexual abuse cases, including matters allocated to the Magellan list
- Recovery applications where children have been removed from a parent’s care
- Mediations and conciliation conferences for both parenting and property matters
- Appearing as solicitor advocate in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, including for contested interim hearings for both property and parentings matters
- Appearing as solicitor advocate in the Magistrates Court for domestic violence matters, including matters where there are associated criminal charges
Outside of law, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and volunteering at her local surf club.
Alexandra takes an approach tailored to her client’s needs, with a view to resolving matters by achieving a pragmatic resolution through negotiation or mediation. She understands that the separation process can be daunting for everyone involved and prides herself on exploring dispute resolution processes where appropriate. Alexandra recognises that such a resolution may not always be achievable, and in those circumstances, Alexandra will fiercely advocate for her clients during court proceedings.
